i sure like the music/way of life/the sundance but don’t you think posting it on youtube is actually a big no no? like if they actually wanna learn these songs they’ll make time to go to an actual sundance? I just feel you giving our traditional songs away posting it up just sharing my thoughts on this and shouldn’t even be recording this at a sundance period….
The way of the red path…..

the time is coming where all Indigenous peoples across the world need to start sharing their wisdom and knowledge to all people around the globe!!!
@crowhawk2008: Why do you need to translate to English when you already know what the song means in your hear? This was not meant to break language barriers but meant to praise the “Native American” God of the sun.

Could you translate to english?I would appreciate it if you could. As a sundancer myself,I know this song but it is one of the very very few I can totally translate to English.I know most of it but some words have me.Thank you,my friend.
This song is a tree song, but whenever i heard it sung, it was slower.
Tuŋķaśina waŋmayakayo, De miyeċa teĥiya naważiŋyedo, Uŋċi Maka na Wiŋċiŋċiŋna, Wowaĥbana waŋ yuha wauwedo
*note* – i wrote the lyrics in Dakota because that’s what i am and how i know the song, just change the “D’s” to “L’s” an some “n’s” to “L’s”
