I got your point. I dont know why these guys decided to wear the NorthAmerican Indian costumes. I have a lot of respect for the Native culture and I have attended a number of Pow wows in Canada. I enjoy the native Culture.
@yarabamba I , myself love Andean music as well. That’s why I was watching this It just makes me a little annoyed to see them wear something which isn’t representing thier own beautiful culture. Oh, and you ARE Native
I agree. It is non sense to say that South American indians don’t wear anything. Probably this is true in some tropical realms of Peru and Brasil. But this music has Andean roots and in the Andes it is too cold to be almost naked. I praise Alborada for the musical fusion betwen Andean music and elements from the Indian North American culture. We share many things. When I visited Manituolin Island in Ontario people thougth I was native.
@jaelsonmarcelino How is what I wrote stupid? They are wearing North American plains Indians regalia, and they are from South America. And only certain tribes in the deepest parts of central and South America wear very little clothing, most of the other places have very distinct cultural dress. They are wearing clothing which people have come to identify with Indians which is a stereotype! How do I know this? I Am A Native, so yes , I am INDEED from Canada!
my dear, are you from Canada indeed? what you wrote is a stupid thing, you don’t know how to distinguish the clothes that they wear, most south american indians do not wear anything.
Mother earth isn’t dying… But she is getting pissed. She is going to clean herself of the fleas that are feeding off of her, but she’ll still be here… We won’t be though.
