Randy Says:March 28, 2008 at 4:16 pmYes. I was banned bsucaee I didn’t like the rating system that John introduced. So I kiddingly said I was going to only vote on one commenter and give that person a thumbs down. That commenter being him. So I gave him 4 negs. John went all ballistic on me. Since I don’t share emails unless the person is malicious, suffice to say, he said I was trying to screw up his site and was extremely foulmouthed. He also compared me to the person(s) who had been coming on and leaving very sick racist comments concerning Michelle Obama and Sen. Obama. He said I was screwing up his clout . How anybody needs clout on their own blog is beyond me. Though I don’t get many commenters, I have all the clout I need at my place. I asked him about this clout and he did not respond to that. So if their is some type of net clout feed then he shouldn’t go hog wild on people. I or anyone else could easily sabotage him. I’m not like that. What I liked about A Blog was that it was not an echo chamber. It was diverse and any people from the Far Right were easily handled. I usually do that by holding a mirror up to them(see above comment to leesplez). As John seems to be an Obama supporter like I am(now) that was not the reason. He may just want to turn it into an echo chamber. I’m also a Proud Member of the Banned at Crooks and Liars. That is an echo chamber and woe to those who dissent. It used to be a premier site for vids, but now anything there is to found just about any where. My blogging intent is not Social Networking. I just want to make a positive difference. Not that I don’t get friendly with people I like or anything. I do. But that is not my primary motivation. I also still get a kick out of it all. After all, if it wasn’t for the net, I couldn’t hook up with others all over the world. I’m also so much better informed. I would not have had the chance to be Deprogrammed.Anyways most of the commenters at A Blog were talking out their ass anyways. One could easily tell that most don’t bother to click once or twice. We all have our knee jerk moments, but to many it’s a lifestyle. Or blogging style as the case maybe. In a week or 2 we will be moving into the woods where we will not have net access anyway. I’ll visit and blog when I can make it to the library(a 1/2 an hour at a time generally)or at some friends here and there.Peace.
