Luv his singing!! where’s the other version of the butterfly song? “butterfly, butterfly… go and find my baby…watch over her… look after her.. tell me how’s she’s doing.. “
i hate how people just don’t appreciate the loving in the song. why so much negativity, and anger? You should start thinking of how much thoughtfulness he put into this song.
Yeah, and so what if an NAC song composer or what ever made this song? I dont see you hard at work, You don’t know if he’s having a hard time or not.. Just be thankful for the song it’s beautiful and it’s time for you to start apperciating that.
this song is a little too much. this isn’t meant for native people. this seem to be aimed at white people so they award this guy a grammy. I aint knocking his voice and the meaning of the songs sounds good. But to label this a peyote song is far from what I know of the medicine songs because they are to heal people and praise God.
Pro Peyote People about this song, have so much negativity in their comments, but you see their kids listening to “..So I reach back like a Pimp and slap the Ho…”
Where is their correction their?
I don’t think Eli put this out for the Elders. Being Pro NAC your showing negative attitude that the NAC does not promote
- NAC {brotherly love, family care, self-support through work, avoidance of alcohol, and avoidance of recreational drug use.}
Hate or Love it, the lyrics are in step with NAC
awesome song.. using nac to express love.. would it be any different if he used native language? there are a ton of ceremonial songs that involve love.. beautiful native music is all that should b heard… not judgements about it being right or wrong….
Hey I don’t think this song is about commercialization , its just a sweet song(cri it could even be about his daughter). It dont matter who or what its about, if anything its about innovation .The past doesnt have to be lost just cuz we look to the future .It wont make you less native.
Peace

just keep in mind its NOT a peyote song…this style decends from the CONTEMPORARY style of peyote style singing. It is in no way a peyote song.
stupid.
