On March 21, 2005, a school shooting in Red Lake, Minnesota left children and community members devastated. Since then, members of this largely Native American community have banded together to help heal the emotional wounds left by that tragedy. Students from Red Lake visited Taos Pueblo Day School April 23, 2009 where they were treated to presentations by TDS students and a mini-concert by renowned musician Robert Mirabal. Video shot and edited by Rick Romancito for The Taos News Media Center, www.taosnews.com
