this is the winner of this years nammy award for best short form music video.congrats to Jan and to all who were in the were at the event.it is a great video.
jimmy its justin. 2011 get that nammy bud! great spirit sounds like its yer best work yet, and all i’ve heard were the session mixes, still havent heard the final product.
I had never in my life, experienced the love and togetherness of a group of artists, that I experienced coming together for this video project. Getting to know each other, working on each others songs- encouraging each other, welcoming each other, and spreading that positive vibe. It was truly Native American magic! May it spread throughout Native America and the world. Thank you Jan- my friend and brother, for all your great flute work on my new CD’ Great Spirit”. Rock On! Jimmy Lee Young
Great song! My friends and I attend the NAMA’s every year, we are not Native Americans however we enjoy your music, spiritual believes, and culture. It is wonderful time being surrounded by such brilliant people. We all could learn a great deal from all the Natives no matter what Tribe. Thank you.
you are definitely lying.. I am sorry you feel the need to be deceitful about calling NAMA when these folks have been winning nammy awards for several years in a row. and there is NO dispute in their claims of being Native American which is verified by the producers of the Native American Music Awards
what a waste of talk, the only reason I said “Cherokee” is because whites always claim Cherokee and truthfully us natives are sick of hearing it. YOU call the Nammys, I already have and that’s why I know the facts.
If you refer back to your first comment about them being “cherokee” shows that you didn’t even know what the NAMA awards were and you obviously didn’t know or recognise any of the individuals in this video. If you did you would (as I stated initially) go and google these folks and Native American Music Awards. I advise you to contact NAMA and ask them to verify the nominees and you will be “enlightened” blessings “dewayne”
my family ,my values, my love of life…….
